The Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB) successfully conducted the W2 Research Bootcamp from March 11–13, 2026 in La Union, gathering business and marketing educators from different institutions for an intensive research development program.

The 2 1/2 -day bootcamp adopted an innovative continuing education model, combining mentoring, collaborative learning, and research workshops designed to strengthen the research capabilities of faculty members. Participants engaged in research pitching sessions, mentoring circles, collaborative research jams, and capstone proposal development, enabling them to refine research ideas and transform them into viable research proposals.

The event also highlighted the spirit of academic collaboration and mentorship, with mentors and facilitators guiding participants through various stages of the research process. Their expertise and support helped create a dynamic learning environment that encouraged scholarly dialogue and innovation.

PACSB expressed its sincere appreciation to Saint Louis College (SLC–San Fernando) for its support and partnership in hosting the activity. The association likewise thanked the mentors, facilitators, and enthusiastic mentees whose commitment and teamwork contributed to the success of the program.

The W2 Research Bootcamp reflects PACSB’s continuing mission to promote research productivity, collaboration, and capacity-building among business educators across the country. Through initiatives such as this bootcamp, PACSB hopes to further cultivate a strong research culture within the academic community.
