Manila, Philippines – The Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB), in partnership with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) and Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila, successfully conducted a seminar-workshop entitled “Analytics in Business: Empowering Business Educators” last February 6, 2025, at the Academic Resource Center of LPU Manila. The event was graced by academic leaders, faculty members, and administrators from various member institutions.
Dr. Flormando P. Baldovino, Dean of the College of Business and Accountancy at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, shared critical insights on the evolving role of analytics in business education, emphasizing real-time analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
The seminar also featured a hands-on workshop designed to equip participants with practical skills in descriptive and inferential analytics using business data, reinforcing the importance of fostering an analytics culture in academe. Topics such as big data, business analytics tools, and curriculum integration strategies were thoroughly discussed, aligning with the increasing demand for graduates with analytical capabilities. The event culminated with an open forum and fellowship, further strengthening collaboration among institutions toward innovation in business education.
