Laoag City, Ilocos Norte – The Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB) successfully held its first face-to-face seminar for SY 2024–2025 on October 18, 2024, at the International House Conference of Northwestern University in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
Themed “Understanding the Case Method of Teaching: Crafting Publishable Cases,” the event drew academic leaders and business educators from across the country for a full-day learning and sharing experience.
Renowned educator and case writer Dr. Dinah Pura T. Depositario of the University of the Philippines Los Baños led the seminar, guiding participants through the principles of case method teaching, the process of crafting publishable cases, and in an actual writeshop exercise. Attendees were also able to present their initial outputs and engage in an open forum to exchange ideas on the most effective use of the Case Method in business education.
