




Koronadal City, South Cotabato – The Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB), in partnership with Notre Dame of Marbel University, successfully hosted the 2nd Faculty Development Seminar on “Social Entrepreneurship Integration in Academic Institutions” on November 13, 2024, at the BRC Convention Hall, Notre Dame of Marbel University, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The seminar gathered faculty members from various PACSB member institutions to explore innovative strategies for integrating social entrepreneurship into business curricula. This initiative aligns with PACSB’s commitment to cultivating socially responsible educators and preparing students to become changemakers in their communities.
Two esteemed speakers enriched the event with their expertise: Dr. Karl Campos from the University of Southeastern Philippines and Ms. Angelica Añabeza from the Wadhwani Foundation. Their presentations offered valuable insights on embedding entrepreneurial solutions to social problems within academic settings, inspiring participants to reimagine teaching approaches that champion sustainability and inclusivity.
PACSB extends its gratitude to President Dr. Amado Magsino, the PACSB Board and Officers, and especially Dr. Fausto S. Abella of Pilgrim Christian College, who represented the leadership team during the event. Their continued support reinforces the association’s mission to uplift and empower business educators nationwide.
